Numerically the most influential U.S. tank destroyer of World War II, the M10 received its baptism by fire in Tunisia in 1943. Equipped with a turret, unlike most tank destroyers of the era, it proved powerful enough to destroy most of the German Panzers then in service. The "Achilles," equipped with a 17-pounder anti-tank gun, was an M10 variant used by the British, Polish, and Canadians.
Made by Hobby Master, this 1/72 scale, die cast model — a replica of an Achilles IIC used by the Polish Army in 1944 — features textured surface details, historic markings, rotating weaponry (including 17-pounder and Browning machine gun), quality tracks, and a display base with a removable protective cover. Measures approximately 3½" long.
