Produced from 1929-1932, the P-12 was an interwar American fighter developed by Boeing and serving with the USAAF and USN. Nearly 600 units were manufactured, though it was ultimately replaced in military fleets by the P-26 in 1934-1935. None saw service during World War II, though some were used as training aircraft through 1941. It was officially retired in 1949 with the Brazilian Air Force.
