Designed in the early 1930s, the F-11C was a biplane fighter flown by the U.S. Navy. Produced for only one year (1932), only 30 came off the assembly lines with a handful exported to other national militaries. The aircraft saw very limited service in World War II (with the Thai Air Force).
Replicating an F-11C2, this 1/72 scale plastic kit features upper-wing struts, a detailed R-1820-78 engine, simulated fabric, a clear windscreen, a pilot figure, authentic VF-1 markings, and realistically molded landing gear. Assembly required. Skill level 2. Measures approximately 3¾" long with a 5¼" wingspan.
