One of the most successful modern fighters ever with over 100 aerial victories, the F-15 Eagle is a twin-engine, all-weather, tactical jet designed in 1967 and officially introduced in 1976. Seeing action in six nations, the Eagle is expected to continue production until 2019, an impressive 47-year manufacturing run — it will remain in service with the U.S. Air Force until at least 2025.
Made by Hobby Master, this 1/72 scale, die cast model replicates an F-15C as it appeared with the 65th Aggressor Squadron (a unit that was reactivated in 2005 and assigned two dozen F-15 Eagles). It features realistic panel lines and air intake, an opening glazed canopy, a well-equipped cockpit (with detailed instrumentation and a removable pilot figure), full weapons complement, optional-position landing gear, authentic 2012 markings, and a display stand. Measures approximately 10½" long with a 7" wingspan.
