The F-84 Thunderstreak was a swept-wing fighter-bomber designed to compete with the F-86 Sabre and was first flown in 1950. The "F" model, the primary production variant, came out in 1952 (too late to see service during the Korean War). More than 3,000 were manufactured and it was still in service internationally until the early 1990s.
This 1/100 scale, metal and plastic model is a replica of an F-84F operating with the Italian Aerobatic Team, Getti Tonanti. It features engraved panel lines, a glazed canopy, a well-equipped cockpit, a colorful livery, fixed landing gear, and a display stand. Measures approximately 4½" long with a 4½" wingspan.
