Take advantage of the rare opportunity to own an aviation collectible hand-signed by an ace pilot!
Charles "Chick" Cleveland joined the 4th Fighter-Interceptor Wing in South Korea in March of 1952. As Commander of the 334th Fighter-Interceptor Squadron he flew an F-86E Sabre in which he scored five victories over MiG-15s, making him an aerial ace (the last of which was not officially recognized until Russian records were released fifty years later). The celebrated pilot has numerous decorations over his decades-long career including the Silver Star and Congressional Gold Medal.
Made by Hobby Master, this limited edition, 1/72 scale, die cast model is a replica of "The Chris Craft," an F-86F Sabre flown by Cleveland as it appeared in 1952. Most excitingly, it comes with a nameplate personally signed by the ace himself! It also features signature nose art, engraved panel lines, a sliding canopy, a removable pilot figure, a well-equipped cockpit, a detailed afterburning engine nozzle, optional-position landing gear, authentic markings, and a mid-flight display stand. Measures approximately 6¾" long with a 6¼" wingspan.
