The F/A-18F Super Hornet is a tandem-seat advanced derivative of its predecessor that's been around since the late 1970s. After a successful first flight, the F/A-18F entered production for the U.S. Navy in 1999, where it replaced the F-14 Tomcat.
This 1/72 scale, die cast model is a Hobby Master replica of an F/A-18F as it appeared with the VFA-103 "Jolly Rogers" aboard the USS Eisenhower in 2013. It features its signature skull and crossbones tail, engraved panel lines, a well-equipped cockpit, two crew figures, wing-mounted weaponry, optional-position landing gear, and a display stand. Measures 9¼" long with a 6¼" wingspan.
