Among the most legendary fighters in history, the Fw 190 was first seen flying over France in August of 1941. Its combat debut came on the Eastern Front in late 1942 where it outperformed its Bf 109 predecessor in both firepower and maneuverability. The warbird was well-liked by its pilots, proving superior to its early-war Allied counterparts.
Featuring two sets of authentic markings (JG 2 and JG 301) from the last few months of the war, this 1/48 scale plastic kit of an Fw 190D-9 also comes with a glazed canopy, a well-equipped cockpit, a detailed machine gun position, separate ailerons, a rotating propeller, and a detailed undercarriage.
