A successor to the Korean War-era M38, the M151 utility truck was produced in staggering numbers from 1959-1982. It saw extensive service during the Vietnam War, and its versatility and flexibility — it was able to fit inside a CH-53 transport helicopter, for example — made it a popular military support vehicle for decades. The rugged "jeep" has been used by an incredible 100+ militaries worldwide.
This 1/48 scale, Hobby Master, die cast replica of the "A2" MUTT — a suspension-upgraded variant introduced in 1970 — features a realistic camouflage design, a glazed windshield, a realistic soft top, a well-equipped interior, a host of accurate accessories including a side-mounted shovel and axe, realistically treaded tires including a rear-mounted spare, authentic markings from the 3rd Armored Division "Convoy Follows," and a removable display base. Measures approximately 2¾" long.
