Designed to keep aviators warm in temperatures down to 14 degrees, the MA-1 flight jacket was first introduced in the mid-1950s. Revisions were made in the early 1960s, including a bright orange lining to help pilots stand out to rescue personnel if their plane crashed. The jacket became a popular civilian item during the 1970s.
This sage green reproduction of the stylish flight jacket features a durable nylon fabric design, the signature utility/pencil pocket with a "Remove Before Flight" keychain, a zipper closure with storm flap, and a comfortable knit waistband, cuffs, and collar. Available in four comfortable sizes.
