Designed to keep aviators warm in temperatures down to 14 degrees, the MA-1 flight jacket was first introduced in the mid-1950s. Revisions were made in the early 1960s, including a bright orange lining to help pilots stand out to rescue personnel if their plane crashed. The jacket became a popular civilian item during the 1970s.
Featuring a coyote-colored outer shell (made of 100% nylon), this quality reproduction also comes with a poly fiber-fill orange liner, four front slash pockets, and a zippered utility pocket. Embroidery may be added. Available in five comfortable sizes.
