The legendary P-51, a long-range and single-seat fighter, was one of the most successful aircraft of WWII, with pilots claiming 4,950 enemy planes shot down. The Mustang was one of the significant factors helping the Allied forces gain air superiority; it was also used extensively during the Korean War. Over 15,000 units were manufactured and they remained in official service for some national air forces until the 1980s.
This detailed 1/48 scale, die cast, Hobby Master model pays tribute to the heroic aviator John England, a 17½-victory Ace during World War II, and his "Missouri Armada" Mustang.
