A side-by-side two-seat basic trainer, the Scottish Aviation Bulldog was first flown in 1969. It remains in service, though only with the Maltese Air Wing, after ten other national militaries have retired the aircraft, including the United Kingdom and Sweden. More than 300 were manufactured.
A replica of a Bulldog trainer flown by the Hong Kong Auxiliary Air Force, this 1/72 scale, die cast model features engraved panel lines, a glazed canopy, a realistic two-seat cockpit, a rotating propeller, optional-position landing gear, and authentic HKG-5 markings. Measures approximately 4" long with a 5½" wingspan.
