Introduced in March of 1953, the Hawker Sea Hawk was a British fighter that served with the Royal Navy. It was the company's first jet aircraft and proved a reliable aircraft, remaining in service until 1983. During that time it saw combat duty during the Suez Crisis, Indo-Pakistani War, and elsewhere. More than 500 were manufactured.
This limited edition, 1/72 scale, die cast model — a replica of the Sea Hawk FGA.6 as it appeared with the Royal Navy in 1986 — features authentic Royal Navy markings, a glazed canopy, a well-equipped cockpit, realistic air intakes, extended landing gear, and a mid-flight display stand. Measures approximately 6¾" long with a 6½" wingspan.
