A main battle tank first appearing in 1998, the ZTZ-98 was built by the Chinese in an attempt to emulate the powerful Soviet T-72 and T-80. The "99" series quickly followed, and, as of 2008, there have been more than 200 tanks manufactured in the "98" and "99" families. It remains in service with the Chinese Army today.
Meticulously made by Air Force 1 Model Company, this 1/35 scale, die cast replica of the lethal Chinese tank features a colorful green and white camouflage paint scheme, finely textured surfaces, a rotating 125mm turret, opening top hatches, a detailed machine gun, rear-mounted fuel tanks, realistic tracks, and a removable cherry wood display base. Measures approximately 8" long.
