FINDING AN ITEM There are a few ways that you can search for products on our web site. As you can see our products are divided into tabs at the top of every page. Below the tabs there is a section for the catagories of products we have. So for example you if you are looking for a video on the airplanes that flew in WWII you need to click the video tab. Now you will be in the video section. Since you are looking for a video on WWII airplanes, click World Wars I-II to generate a list of our videos in that criteria. At this point you are able to further break down the main category of WWII planes into the sub-categories of German or American planes for example. Another method to use would be the Product Search feature on the left side of the page. Use the pull down menus to narrow your search.

PRODUCT INFORMATION When you are presented a page that lists our products by title only, simply click on the title or click on the link that says, "More About this Title". Then you will be able to view an image and a description of that product. If you click the "Back" button you will return to the page you were at prior to the Product Information page. ORDERING A PRODUCT When you find an item(s) you want to buy click the "Add to Cart" button. What this does is simply put the item into "memory" so that you can continue shopping or prepare to buy that item. It does not mean you are locked in to buying that item. If you are done shopping click on the "View Cart" icon. What ever you have added to your cart will now be displayed and you can begin the checkout process. SITE SECURITY HistoricAviation.com uses a secure server. Any personal information you submit such as your credit number, name, phone number, etc. is encrypted as it travels over the internet. Encryption means the that information is encoded in such a way that it cannot be read by other parties. This is safer than using your credit card at a restaurant. Always look for a lock icon or text at the bottom of your browser window that tells you that you have a secure connection over the internet. HistoricAviation.com does not give or sell the information you submit to anyone. If you still aren't comfortable please use our toll-free number to place your order. Keep in mind that phone orders may take longer to process. Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, your bank cannot hold you liable for more than $50.00 of fraudulent charges on your credit card. SHOPPING CART The shopping cart feature makes shopping easier at HistoricAviation.com. It is like physically shopping at a store with a cart. When you put an item into your cart at the grocery store you can add more items or remove items. The same is true with the shopping cart feature we use. If you click the "View Cart" icon and you have not added an item to your cart the page will tell you your cart is empty. When you find an item you want to buy, click the "Add to Cart" button next to it. When you add an item to your cart you will automatically go to the view cart page and see that item in your cart. At this point you can continue shopping, edit the item(s) in your cart, choose the shipping method or proceed with the check out process. You can edit an item in the following ways. Remove it from your cart by clicking the "Remove" button. Add more or less of an item by highlighting the number displayed next to an item, changing the quantity and clicking the "Update" button. Choose a shipping method that you prefer. When you have finished shopping and you are happy with the items click the "Checkout" button at the bottom of the page.

DOMESTIC SHIPPING AND HANDLING HistoricAviation.com offers you a choice of shipping methods ranging form the default "standard" shipping to UPS Next Day Air. Standard shipping ( allow 2-3 weeks for delivery) is determined by the total value of the merchandise ordered:

For UPS ground delivery $2.00 is added to the standard delivery charge. Second Day Air adds $10.00 to the standard shipping chanrge and takes 2 business days, no weekend delivery; no P.O. boxes or FPO/APO. UPS Next Day Air adds $16.00 to the standard shipping charge and takes 1 business day, no weekend delivery; no P.O. Boxes or FPO/APO.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING AND HANDLING For orders outside of the continental United States, $16.00 will be added to the standard domestic shipping and handling charge. Standard shipping for international orders is Air Mail with a 4-6 week delivery time. Second Day and Next Day delivery is not available on international orders. Take me back to where I was. CHECKOUT AND PAYMENT Click the view cart icon. Review the items in your cart then click the checkout button, the next page you'll see gathers your billing information. The information you enter will be secure. Follow the instructions on the page. On your first purchase at HistoricAviation.com you will be presented with the time saving option of choosing a username and password for the next time you visit. This saves you time the on your next visit by storing your information so you don't have t re-enter it. If this is your first visit to our site, or you chose not to have a username and password, skip the username and password section. Fill out all text input fields. Please note: The check box on the page if left "checked" assumes that the items will be shipped to the address given for your billing address. If this is not the case then "un-check" the box and you will have the opportunity to enter your shipping information on the following page. When you are at the Final Checkout page - (indicated by the airplane at the top of the page next to the highlighted text) all of the information that applies to your order will be displayed. You still have an opportunity to change your order or information, if you need to, on this page. If everything on the Final Checkout page meets your approval, then click the "Done" button and your order will be submitted and you will go to the receipt page. Be sure to print out a copy of this page or write down the receipt number given for your order.
