The Erco Ercoupe - a low-wing monoplane produced in the United States between 1940 and 1969 - was designed to be the safest fixed-wing aircraft that aerospace engineering could provide at that time.
A replica of one of those streamlined aircraft, this 1/6 scale kit has a mammoth, 5-foot wingspan when assembled! You get high quality, laser-cut balsa wood parts; plenty of vacuum-molded parts; landing gear wire and wheels; 4-channel control, including aileron, elevator, nose and wheel steering; and more. Suitable for display or electric-powered flight, it has a 60" wingspan. Assembly required.

Featuring molded plastic, Japanese cypress, plywood, white metal and cast brass parts, this incredible kit includes an intricately detailed, simulated rotary engine; a fully outfitted cockpit with gauges, a control stick, a foot pedal, and twin Spandau LMG 08/15 machine guns; realistic flight control systems that actually move; prototypical airframe structures that wonderfully replicate those of the original; detailed landing gear with real rubber tires; and much more. Designed to display as a skeleton model (fabric for wing and rear fuselage not included), it measures approximately 28½” long with a 33” wingspan. 857 parts, skill level 3.
