Formed in 1939, Alaska Coastal Airlines was, by the time it merged with Ellis Airlines in 1962, the largest scheduled airline operating amphibious airplanes exclusively. One of these amphibians was the Grumman Goose, replicated here in a 1/48 scale, die cast model that features detailed engine fronts with rotating propellers, real rubber tires, authentic markings - and a coin slot on top of the fuselage! 12¼" wingspan.
