A replica of "Air Chief Black Hawk," a Convair CV-440 propliner flown by Mohawk Airlines (a mid-Atlantic regional that operated out of New York and Pennsylvania from 1945 until its merger with Allegheny Airlines in 1972), this 1/200 scale, die cast Herpa model features simulated cockpit and cabin windows; detailed Pratt & Whitney R-2800-CA3 Double Wasp engine fronts with rotating propellers; antennas, simulated lights, and other fine detail parts; extended landing gear with free-rolling wheels; polished metal on the belly and wings; a razor-sharp 1960s livery; and more. Measures 4½" long with a 5½" wingspan and arrives ready to display.
