A-1H Skyraider 1/72 Die Cast Model
VA-65 "Tigers," USS Enterprise, Operation Sea Orbit, 1964

On July 31, 1964, the USS Enterprise (CVN-65), the world's first nuclear-powered aircraft carrier, began Operation "Sea Orbit," a 30,565 mile voyage around the world in 65 days.

A replica of an A-1H Skyraider flown by Maj. H.R. Jennings with the VA-65, "The World Famous Flying Tigers," off of the USS Enterprise during that operation, this 1/72 scale, die cast Hobby Master model features engraved panel lines, a detailed cockpit with an optional-position canopy and a removable pilot figure, four 20mm cannons and 12 wing pylons with removable bombs and rocket pods, a removable centerline fuel tank, a rotating propeller, optional-position landing gear and an arresting hook, authentic markings, and more. 8¼" wingspan; includes a display stand.
