de Havilland Mosquito Mk.IV 1/48 Kit

Introduced in 1941, the primarily wooden de Havilland Mosquito performed numerous roles - including fast bomber, daytime tactical bomber, night bomber, pathfinder, fighter, and photo-reconnaissance aircraft - for the RAF during World War II.

A replica of that multi-role aircraft, this 1/48 scale, plastic kit features finely textured surfaces; a well-equipped cockpit with an instrument panel and a glazed canopy; realistic engine fronts with rotating propellers; movable flight control surfaces; optional-position bomb bay doors; removable bombs and drop tanks; intricate landing gear; a choice of authentic decals for Nos. 627, 109, and 105 Squadrons; and more. 13½" wingspan; 222 parts, skill level 2.

Lavochkin La-7 1/72 Die Cast Model
Maj. Ivan Nikitovich Kozhedub, Soviet Air Force

The 34th release in the Oxford Diecast series of 1/72 scale, die cast warplanes, this model is a replica of a Lavochkin La-7 - which ended the superiority in vertical maneuverability that the German Bf 109G had previously enjoyed over Soviet fighters - flown by the World War II Allied "Ace of Aces," 62-victory ace Maj. Ivan Nikitovich Kozhedub of the Soviet Air Force in 1944.

It features textured surfaces; a detailed cockpit with a glazed canopy; authentic markings, including victory symbols below the canopy; and more. Measures 4¾" long with a 5¼" wingspan and includes a display stand that identifies the plane and pilot.
