On April 8, 1931, Amelia Earhart set the autogiro altitude record of 18,415 feet in a PCA-2 Pitcairn Autogiro and, later that spring, flew a cross-country promotional tour for Beech-Nut in a PCA-2.
This 1/48 scale, plastic set includes two Pitcairn Autogiro kits, each with textured surfaces, detailed cockpits, a realistic Wright Whirlwind engine, monofilament rigging, intricate landing gear, and more. You even get a choice of six markings, including three for autogiros flown by Earhart! 11" rotorspan; assembly required.
