This 1/48 scale die cast model replicates the P-38J Lightning flown by 392nd Fighter Squadron, 367th Fighter Group commanding officer Robert "Buck" Rogers when, on August 25, 1944, he led his squadron on a strafing run that destroyed five Ju 52 transports caught on the ground. The model features engraved panel lines, a fully-outfitted cockpit, detailed superchargers and rotating propellers, extended landing gear with real rubber tires, authentic markings including Rogers' colorful nose art, and more. 13" wingspan.
