| A-4B Skyhawk 1/72 Die Cast Model with Diorama
VA-106 "Gladiators"
This 1/72 scale die cast Hobby Master model replicates the A-4B Skyhawk flown by Cdr. L.W. Baldwin of VA-106, the "Gladiators," off the USS Essex (CV-9) in 1969.
But not only do you get the A-4B with outstanding features such as a detailed cockpit with an opening bubble canopy, a prototypical exhaust nozzle, removable weapons (Shrike missiles and Zuni rocket pods) and fuel tanks, an aerial refueling probe and a tail hook, optional position landing gear, and authentic markings, you also get a realistic carrier deck diorama base with die cast tow and fire tractors, one pilot and four crew figures, a ladder, wheel blocks, and more. The Skyhawk measures 6¾" long and also includes a display stand.
