This true-to-life, 1/16 scale static model reproduces virtually every detail of Eddie Rickenbacker's favorite fighter. Designed without the customary fabric covering to better show the fascinating structural components, this remarkable kit includes three sheets of blueprint quality plans and an illustrated step-by-step instruction manual. You also get 190 basswood, birch and plywood parts (most laser cut) and hundreds of finely cast Britannia metal, copper, aluminum, brass, and rubber parts that make up the instrument panel, fuel tank, turnbuckles, ailerons, struts, compression bar, stabilizers, machine guns, wheels, tires and more. Assembled kit has a 20" wingspan and measures 15¾" long.
