Jim Laurier. On May 12, 1944, Günther Rall led 25 Bf-109s from Hustedt to meet a formation of 800 bombers and their 1200 escorting fighters. In the ensuing battle, Rall faced P-47s from "Zemke's Wolfpack," lost his wingman, and was forced to bail out at low altitude because of damage to his aircraft. 27"x 18" limited edition print is signed and numbered by the artist and Lt. Gen. Günther Rall.
