Marlin's Milieu


Don Feight. The Martin P5M Marlin was the follow-on aircraft to the Martin PBM Mariner and the last operational flying boat used by the U.S Navy as well as the last production aircraft built my Martin. Primarily designed to hunt and destroy the USSR's cold war submarine threat, Marlins also saw service in the Vietnam War - mainly as a patrol aircraft - and were finally retired from the U.S. Coast Guard in 1967. 28"x 22" limited edition print is signed and numbered by the artist.
