KMS Bismarck Returns Fire


Marii Chernev. At 0555 hours on May 24, 1941, after being fired upon for over three minutes without a reply, the Bismarck unleashed her first salvo against the British battle cruiser HMS Hood. Less than ten minutes later, after the Bismarck's fifth salvo, the Hood lay on the bottom of the Denmark Strait. 30"x 24" limited edition, numbered print is signed by the artist and by Burkard Baron Von Mullenheim-Rechberg, the sole surviving officer of the Bismarck.
