| Albatros D.Va Wood & Metal Museum Replica Kit
This true-to-life, 1/16 scale static kit of the Red Baron's "forgotten" fighter is designed without the customary fabric covering to better show the fascinating structural components reproduced with virtually every detail.
It's a remarkable kit that includes: four sheets of blueprint quality plans; a 48-page illustrated instruction manual; 184 basswood, birch and plywood parts (most laser cut); over 100 Britannia metal parts for building the 180 HP six-cylinder Mercedes-Benz motor; over 200 copper, aluminum, steel, rubber and Britannia metal parts used as turnbuckles for guy wires, suppression bars, pulleys, wire support brackets, ailerons, stabilizers, struts, flight instruments, wheels, tires and more; and two simulated .30-caliber machine guns cast in Britannia metal. Assembled kit has a 22½" wingspan and measures 18¼" in length.
