This, the first-ever 1/72 scale die cast model of the propeller-driven A-1 Skyraider, deserves a prominent position in every die cast aircraft display!
Beautifully manufactured by the experts at Hobby Master, this amazingly detailed model replicates the A-1H Skyraider flown by Lt. (JG) William "Tom" Patton of the VA-176 "Thunderbolts" - stationed on the carrier USS Intrepid (CVS-11) - when he downed a MiG-17 jet fighter during a RESCAP mission over North Vietnam on October 9, 1966.
