In 1993, Texaco introduced its first "Wings of Texaco" airplane model/bank as a promotion at its gas stations.
The 17th aircraft in that series, this 1/50 scale, die cast model of a Lockheed 12A Electra Junior - an eight-seat, six passenger, all-metal transport introduced in 1936 - features textured surfaces, realistic engine fronts with rotating propellers, optional-position landing gear, Texaco markings, a coin slot and a key, and more. 12" wingspan; includes a display stand.
