The Avro Lancaster, or "Lanc," as it was affectionately called, became one of the most famous and successful night bombers of World War II.
A replica of one of those aircraft flown by No. 9 Squadron, RAF, this newly tooled, 1/72 scale, die cast Corgi model features engraved surfaces; a detailed cockpit with a glazed canopy and a hand-painted pilot figure; rotating nose and rear gunner's stations with crewmembers and movable machine guns; realistic engine fronts with rotating propellers; a "Tallboy" earthquake bomb; optional-position landing gear; authentic markings, including "Getting Younger Every Day" painted on the nose; collector's card; and more. 17" wingspan; arrives ready to display on the included stand.
