A replica of the FAW Mk.9 variant of the all-weather Gloster Javelin interceptor (the last aircraft to bear the Gloster Aircraft Co. name), a type that served with the Royal Air Force in the late 1950s and most of the 1960s, this limited edition, 1/72 scale, die cast Sky Guardians Europe model is our first 1/72 Javelin!
Fine features include engraved panel lines, a well-equipped cockpit with pilot and radio operator figures and a glazed canopy, the type's distinctive delta wings and large-finned T-tail, wing-mounted missiles and fuel tanks, optional-position landing gear, an authentic camouflage scheme with RAF No. 33 Squadron markings from 1961, a limited edition collector's card, and more. Measures approximately 9½" long with an 8½" wingspan and arrives ready to display on the included metal stand.
