| Apollo 16 "Lunar Highlands Exploration" 1/72 Die Cast Set
Landing on April 21, 1972, Apollo 16 was the fifth manned mission to touch down on the Moon, but the first to land in the lunar highlands, the lighter, more heavily cratered surface of the Moon.
Manufactured with magnificent detail, this 1/72 scale, metal and plastic Dragon diorama representing that mission includes the lunar lander "Orion," astronaut figures, the Lunar Roving Vehicle that the crew drove on the Moon's surface, and the command module "Casper" flying above. It's so finely detailed, you can even look inside the Orion's open hatch to see the cramped interior! The command module is 6" long, the lunar module is 5½" tall, and the entire set arrives ready to display on the 12"x 9" lunar base. #0097894 Price: $99.95
