Ideal for first-generation, transonic research, the Skystreak was a turbojet-powered aircraft that took off from the ground under its own power and had straight wings and tails. Initially painted scarlet, it earned the nickname "crimson test tube." Made of Philippine mahogany, this 1/32 scale model of the Skystreak measures 13¼" in length and 9½" in wingspan, is hand painted and detailed, and includes a mahogany base. #0009958
