This remarkable scale reproduction of the 1925 National Air Tour trophy celebrates the history of transportation in relief detail with images from camels to horse and buggy, sailing ship to locomotive, and finally zeppelin to heavier-than-air craft. Topped off with the mythological Mercury, it is also inscribed with "This trophy is offered to encourage the up-building of commercial aviation as a medium of transportation."
