Built primarily to combat Soviet strategic bombers, the F-102 Delta Dagger was an interceptor designed by Corsair in the early-1950s. It remained in service with the U.S. Air Force through the late 1970s, seeing combat action as a bomber-escort and ground-attack warplane in Vietnam. One thousand were manufactured.
