One of only two aircraft manufactured by McDonnell Douglas in St. Louis, Missouri, the F-15J was received by the U.S. Air Force and then delivered to the JASDF on July 15, 1980. 203 F-15Js and 20 F-15DJs were created for Japan and the Air Development and Test Wing ensured each one met the requirements of the JASDF before they were sent. 10½" long.< /br>
