Designed to meet an RAF requirement for a fast trainer to replace the Folland Gnat, the BaE Hawk first flew on August 21, 1974. This tandem two-seat aircraft has a distinctive appearance, with the front seat positioned below the rear seat so that the instructor has a clear view of the student's cockpit. This 1/48 scale, die cast model from Hobby Master recreates the Hawk T.Mk 1 as flown by the RAF Fradu in England, 2009. This amazing piece includes realistic panel lines, an opening canopy, a detailed interior, interchangeable landing gear, authentic markings and ordnance loads, plus a display stand. 9 ¼" long.
