On January 13, 1945, 1.5 million men entered East Prussia on their way to Konigsberg and Pillau. After heavy losses due to German resistance, the Soviet forces reached Konigsberg in late January. The assault on the city was executed by aircraft and tanks from the 1st Baltic Front and the 3rd Belorussian Front. After four days of fighting, German forces surrendered on April 9.
Featuring markings from the 3rd Belorussian, as it fought in Konigsberg during WWII, the ISU-122 Tank Destroyer is recreated in this 1/72 scale, Hobby Master, die cast model. It includes a chassis, realistic tracks and wheels, authentic markings, and surface details. Measures 4" long.
