Stan Stokes. A commercial version of the C-97 military transport plane built by Boeing, the Model 377 Stratocruiser was first delivered to passenger airline companies in 1949 and 1950. This limited edition print shows a Stratocruiser, operating with Northwest Orient Airlines, departing the New York area in 1952. Signed by the artist and Capt. Spencer Marsh, a man who worked for Northwest Orient Airlines, trained pilots during World War II, and flew numerous airlift flights during the Korean War! 16"x 11½".
