Manufactured in Belfast, Northern Ireland, from 1986-1995, the Short Tucano T1 is a trainer aircraft used by the RAF. Only 160 units were built, and though the majority of these are in service in England, a number have also been exported to Kenya and Kuwait.
This limited edition, 1/72 scale, die cast model — a replica of the trainer painted as a classic camouflage Spitfire — features realistic panel lines, a glazed canopy, two detailed pilot figures, extended landing gear, authentic RAF No. 1 Flight Training markings, and a display stand. Measures approximately 5¼" long with a 6¼" wingspan.
