Stanislav Fejfar served in the Czech Air Force, and in 1939, he escaped to France when Germany took over the country. With the French Groupe de Chasse I/6, he achieved four victories before going to the RAF when France fell. The Supermarine Spitfire was first flown on March 5, 1936. As an unrivaled symbol of victory, it flew operationally on every front between 1939 and 1945 and was engaged in every one of the Royal Air Force's major actions.
Featuring markings from No. 313 Squadron RAF, this 1/48 scale, Hobby Master, die cast model recreates the Spitfire Mk.Vb as it was piloted by Stanislav Fejfar in May, 1942. It includes an adjustable canopy, pad-printed gauges, a spinning propeller, an engine exhaust stack, realistic panel lines, antennas, access panels, surface details, a detailed cockpit interior, interchangeable extended/retracted landing gear, detachable ordnance loads, an accurately detailed underside, and a display stand. Measures 7½" long with a 9¼" wingspan. Shipping June 2020.
