The Panavia Tornado was a joint effort between the UK, West Germany and Italy to create a dual-engine aircraft with variable-sweep wings. The Tornado took its first flight on August 14, 1974.
Designed with markings from RAF No.9 Sqn, this 1/72 scale, Hobby Master, die cast model recreates the Tornado IDS. It includes landing gear, an adjustable canopy, well-equipped cockpit, surface details, detailed underside, ordnance loads, and a display stand. Measures 9¼" long.
